What is NACA?

NACA is the (National Association of Campus Activities) – a non-profit organization that puts on regional conferences where music acts, comedians, lectures and other entertainers showcases in front of campus activities programmers from around the country.  According to NACA.org, “NACA joins the higher education and entertainment communities in a business and learning partnership, creating educational and business opportunities for our student and professional members. The Association offers a wide variety of events, educational institutes, publications, educational sessions, face-to-face meeting opportunities and other programs.”

NACA covers the entire U.S. and is divided into 7 regions (Central, Mid America, Mid Atlantic, North East, North Plain, South and West). Each region puts on one conference per year, most of them during the fall semester and they last for three to four days.

At Blu Chip Media, we specialize in getting our clients involved with the NACA conferences across the country to set up college tours, block booking and show cases for special events including homecoming and spring break performances.

Acts like Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Suzanne Vega and Toad the wet sprocket have all used NACA and the college market as a platform for success. Comedians also thrive in this market, which has helped the careers of Carrot Top, Jay Leno, Sinbad and many more.
